Meetup: Brandon & Riverview

At the last Meetup on September 12, we decided to dive deeply into the feature presentation of ***Building Websites with the Sales Process*** and break it down piecemeal, deliver it over the next three months, and include other content the class will find helpful.

I changed the Agenda to include four parts of approximately 30 minutes for each part.

**Part 1 Website Assessment:** This is the first part of the session will review and collectively critique several websites built by our class members. The purpose is to provide constructive feedback to improve the websites. Our approach will be similar to a “focus group” method to emulate the target segment of buyer visitors who have never seen the site and are seeking to satisfy motivation reasons for coming to the site. The website designer will describe the target buyers and what the visitor expects to accomplish while on the site. Then, as a class, we will review the specific website on the overhead screen and asks everyone to critique it individually and write down their conclusions. After 5 minutes, each class member will reveal their feedback and all possible solutions to improve it.

**Part 2 Recommendations:** The class members will recommend the top 4 WordPress Plugins they use in their website development. The class members will briefly describe the function and cons and pros. We will demo online some of the top plugins in class.

**Part 3 Feature Topic:** This session will continue with the ***Building Websites with the Sales Process***. We will begin with a detailed interactive discussion of the four marketing models that describe the buyer’s transition through the three sales stages of Cognitive, Affective & Behavior response. Next, we will look closer at the Sales Process mapped to webpages and 3 Amigo’s Disciplines to implement the site and create a website that provokes intended actions.

**Part 4 Meetup Closure:** This last part, for the time remaining, will focus on the Summary and Q & A. We will wrap up with a discussion of the expected topics for the next Meetup.
